BATH RENO

Talk about a GUT JOB! This bath is located on our main level and is also the bath that everyone uses when we entertain, which is a lot! Initially when they built this house back in 1986 wallpaper everywhere was really cool. Totally fine then but the beach scene mixed with purple flowers just didn't sit well with us here in the new century. It also included the smallest single shower stall I've ever seen so we knew we needed to take out the small linen closet next to it and pull the shower all the way over. By keeping everything white mostly it really gave the appearance that this room was larger than what it really was. We also decided to install a glass panel instead of a swinging door so the regular bath door didn't butt up to each other and cause any further damages. I love how it allows you to see through the glass and directly into the shower. Brass finishes really makes all the white subway tile look higher end and a fun twist to such a basic tile choice that'll never go out of style.
